Newborn photography is a special way to capture the precious moments of your baby's first days. However, when it comes to scheduling a photoshoot, many parents wonder when the best time is. In this article, we will discuss the ideal timing for a newborn photoshoot and why it's crucial to capture your baby's pictures at the right time.
The best time to do a newborn photoshoot is within the first 14 days of your baby's life. This is because during this time, babies are still very sleepy and pliable, which makes it easier to pose them and capture those adorable, curled-up newborn poses. Additionally, during this time, your baby's skin is still smooth and free of baby acne, which can be a concern later on.
Another reason to schedule your newborn photoshoot early on is that your baby's features are still changing rapidly. Newborns change quickly in the first few weeks of life, so capturing them early ensures that you have a lasting memory of how they looked at this young stage. By the time your baby reaches three - four weeks old, their features will have changed significantly, and it may be too late to capture that newborn look.
It's also important to schedule your newborn photoshoot as soon as possible - preferably in third trimester itself as appointments are usually available 3-5 weeks in advance depending on the booking schedule. You never know when unexpected events may arise. By scheduling your photoshoot early, you can make sure that your baby is captured at the perfect time.
For parents, who miss the first 15days, need not worry, those newborn wrap sessions can still be conducted till the baby is 45- 60 days, however some of the poses may not be feasible.
For premature babies, a newborn session can be conducted till 60days once the babies health is stable.
